Manchester United telah merekrut Bryan Mbeumo, pemain baru yang akan memperkuat lini serang mereka.

As reported, Manchester United officially signed Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford in the summer transfer window of 2025.

The Cameroonian winger joins the Red Devils to boost their attack, having impressed with Brentford in the 2024/25 Premier League season.

This move marks a big step in Mbeumo’s career, expected to bring more creativity and speed to the right side of Old Trafford.

Mbeumo has signed a five-year contract with Manchester United, running until June 2030, with an option for an additional year.

“Manchester United is happy to announce Bryan Mbeumo has joined the club, subject to registration,” stated the club’s official website on Tuesday (July 22, 2025) morning WIB.

“The Cameroonian international has signed a contract until June 2030, with an option for an extra season,” said the official statement from MU.

Most Expensive Signing for Man United

According to Daily Mail, the transfer fee for the winger is reported to be 71 million pounds.

This makes him the most expensive signing for United in the summer transfer window of 2025 under Amorim’s management.

Previously, Manchester United had signed Matheus Cunha from Wolves for 62.5 million pounds.

In his first interview after being introduced as a Manchester United player, Mbeumo expressed his excitement and pride.

“When I knew there was an opportunity to join United, I took the chance to play for my dream club, the jersey I wore as I grew up,” he said, as quoted from the club’s official website.

“Everyone told me about the environment created here and how exciting the future plans are.”

“This is a big club with an amazing stadium and fans.”

“We are all very challenged to win the biggest trophies,” he added.

Mbeumo has performed well with Brentford in the 2024/2025 season.

He scored 20 goals and provided 9 assists in 42 appearances for the club.

His arrival at Manchester United is expected to add a new dimension to the right wing, a position that has not been fully filled yet.

Known for his speed, agility, and clever movements without the ball, Mbeumo will offer new options in Amorim’s attacking strategy.

In the formation 3-4-2-1, Mbeumo is likely to compete with or replace Antony on the right flank.

However, he can also play on the left or even as a second striker.

With his speed and strong attacking attributes, Mbeumo has the potential to form a powerful attacking duo with Matheus Cunha behind the main striker.

Mbeumo and Cunha could provide quality passes, while Rasmus Hojlund acts as the main target man in the penalty area.

Bruno Fernandes may also be moved deeper to balance the midfield.

Additionally, Mbeumo is expected to help solve the scoring issues in United’s frontline under Amorim.
